ProDriver’s F Endorsement Course is designed to help you safely and confidently operate forklifts in New Zealand. This course provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to meet NZTA standards and legally drive a forklift on the road. With experienced, NZTA-approved instructors, we offer clear, hands-on training that covers safety procedures, operating techniques, workplace responsibilities, and relevant regulations. Whether you’re upskilling for your job or beginning a new career path, our F Endorsement Course ensures you receive professional, reliable, and compliant training to operate forklifts with confidence.

Forklift Couse- F endorsement

$ 160 plus Gst

This course designed for a person who wish to operate a forklift on a road. If you need any additional practical training/assesment charged at $50 plus GST per hour. .

Course Purpose

The purpose of this course is to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to drive a forklift on a road.

Course Entry Requirements

Must be at least 15 years of age
Must hold a minimum current Full class of NZ Driver licence .

Describe the legal requirements relating to the driving of a forklift on a road
Describe driving procedures and general considerations for driving a forklift safely on a road
Describe environmental factors affecting the safe driving of a forklift on a road

Practical Learning Outcomes:

Demonstrate procedures for driving a forklift safely and legally on a road

NZQA Unit Standard:

Unit Standard 18496 (Level 2, Credits 2) - Demonstrate knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road for endorsement F

Course FEE

$ 160.00 Includes GST

Course Completion

Upon successful completion of all learning outcomes for the course you will be issued with a NZTA driver licencing endorsement certificate for F Endorsement.

You will need to take this to your nearest NZTA approved driver licencing agent (AA or VTNZ) to have the endorsement upgraded onto your licence.

You cannot legally drive a forklift on a road without the F endorsement upgraded to your licence.

Unit Standard 18496 will be credited to your NZQA record of learning within 90 days of the assessment date.
